Statics introduces the basic concepts of classical mechanics that are essential for solid mechanics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, etc. Vector operations based on the static equilibrium of particle and rigid body, structural analysis is presented. The two-dimensional and three-dimensional free-body diagram and the reaction forces of the structure, trusses, frames is studied.


Mechanical Engineering Programming (기계공학 프로그래밍) EMA20081 (064)

In this lecture, you will learn how to derive mechanical engineering phenomenon as a formula and obtain the result using a computer program. Before classes, you watch web lecture such as Harvard CS50 to learn the programming language; Scratch, C, Python, and Matlab. In the class, you selects engineering problems (linear equation, vector matrix, data analysis) and solve it with computer programing.


Material Science (재료과학) EM218 (062)

We study various material's mechanical, physical, chemical, electrical and thermal characteristics required to select materials for the mechanical design. Steel and heat treatment, metal, plastic, ceramic materials are examples of materials.


Manufacturing Process (기계공작법) EM318 (062)

We study manufacturing process like as casting, forming, machining, welding and micro process. Design for manufacturing and presentation of manufacturing process are final project.
